Zero Parallel Cultivates a Culture of Social Responsibility

The short-term loan affiliate network, Zero Parallel, has made over $25,000 worth of charitable contributions just in 2015 through its charity division ZP Cares.

Zero Parallel finds its success in the financial industry, at the forefront of affiliate networks who assist lenders in providing financial assistance to individuals all around the states. They have aligned their business model with philanthropic ventures as a company-wide standard.

ZP Cares donates $3,000 every month to a different charity. In the past few months, since the charity division was established, ZP Cares has made charitable contributions to the likes of UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund), Save the Children, and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Their efforts have also become a staple within the company itself. Zero Parallel’s employees have been inspired to reach new goals in philanthropy. It’s also encouraged an open forum of ideas and suggestions for new ways of volunteering.

It’s also been more than a way of giving back for their team. “It’s been a team contribution. We’ve all come together for the greater good of others. We want to cultivate a spirit of charity. We want to continuously help. It’s our social responsibility,” says David Gasparyan, President of Zero Parallel.

In addition to these charitable contributions, hands-on events have been planned by the team. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, in conjunction with their donation to Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the entire team showed their support by going pink for the day. In December, their entire team will collaborate with Food on Foot, a reputable charity dedicated to providing warm meals and shelter for the homeless in Los Angeles for over 18 years. Food on Foot welcomes volunteers who can help distribute food and clothing to those in need.

In 2016, ZP Cares plans on adding more charities to their growing list. These include the Arthritis National Research Foundation, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Habitat for Humanity, and Direct Relief. In keeping such a diverse list of charities, their charitable contributions are helping different types of people who are in need of support.
